Edwards Center, (David Childs and Glaserworks, architects, 1992), this 203,000-square-foot building and 611-car garage sits at the campus entrance at Jefferson Avenue and Corry Boulevard. The building is home to the Arlitt Child and Family Research and Education Center, public safety, parking and University Relations. Much of the rest of the facility has been used as temporary swing space for colleges and departments -- athletics, the education college and A&S -- while permanent facilities have been constructed or renovated.
