This home (1950) to the College of Arts and Sciences represents UC's most traditional architecture. The building recieved an endowment in 1852 which enabled the City of Cincinnati to establish the educational institution now known as the University of Cincinnati. The Clifton Avenue entrance to the building is guarded by Mick and Mack, UC's stone lions that were gifted to UC in 1904.
