VOTE: BroadwayWorld Awards highlight CCM excellence
Story by CCM PR Graduate Assistant Lucy Evans
Each year, BroadwayWorld recognizes excellence in regional theater through its online awards. This year, CCM students, faculty and productions received a total of 58 nominations across nearly every category for the Cincinnati Awards.
The awards are granted based on an online poll, which is free and open to the public through December 31. To cast your vote and check out the full list of nominees, visit broadwayworld.com.
Honoring productions which had their first performances between October 1, 2023 and September 30, 2024, the list of nominees features many names and titles from CCM’s 2023-2024 season.
CCM's musical productions of Sweet Charity, Once on This Island, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Light Chasers (co-production at Know Theatre) were all nominated for Best Musical.
CCM's play productions of Let the Right One In (co-production with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company) and Clue: On Stage both received nods for Best Play.
