Apply to College
The first step to becoming a University of Cincinnati student is to complete an online application via the Common Application. In addition to completing the online application, applicant will need to pay an additional fee, submit transcripts and any additional documents necessary. The UC Prioriry Application deadline is December 1.

Sending Standardized Test Scores
Standardized test scores are required for a complete application to UC. It typically takes up to 4 weeks for scores to be sent from ACT, received and processed to your academic record.
Sending ACT Scores
- Log into your ACT account
- Send to UC using the university code 3340.
Sending SAT Scores
- Log into your SAT account
- Send to UC using university code 1833.
Confirm Admission
Confirming your admission officially completes the admission acceptance process and enables UC to finalize your financial aid arrangements. To confirm your admission, please visit admission.uc.edu/confirm.
Complete Placement Tests
Placement tests in English and Math are required for students who do not have college-ready ACT/SAT scores or official transcripts with qualifying college credit. Placement tests are free, and will assist advisors in placing you in the correct classes. Placement Test will not impact your admission to the University of Cincinnati
Register Orientation
All new students are required to attend an orientation before their first semester of classes at the University of Cincinnati. During orientation, students will learn about academic policies, college procedures, register for their first semester classes and find out what is needed to succeed at UC. Check your email frequently for updates about orientation registration, or search orientation from the UC website.
Campus Visit
A campus visit is the best way to see all that the University of Cincinnati has to offer.
