Sheakley Athletics Center is UC’s newest athletics facility and was completed in 2012. Named after Cincinnatian Larry Sheakley, seats 1,200 people and includes concessions, restrooms, a score board and a press box. Though it’s home of the UC Women’s Lacrosse team, it’s also used as a practice facility for other sports including UC Men’s Football. From November through April, this facility becomes indoors and is enclosed in a bubble to keep athletes warm.
