Tangeman University Center, (Charles Gwathmey and GBBN, architects, 2004), was completely remodeled and reopened along UC's brand new MainStreet. Most impressive about the reborn student union is its sweeping 90-foot atrium and massive skylight that now floods the once-dark building with natural light. Included in the massive upgrade were several restaurants, a movie theater, a modern game room, Great Hall and the UC Bookstore.
